Freedom protected by laws and rights within a society. In a Christian context, liberty is the God-given freedom to live, speak, worship, and act within moral boundaries established by God and protected by just laws. Christian liberty is not license to sin, but freedom exercised responsibly under God’s authority and with respect for the rights and well-being of others.
