In a culture increasingly defined by rebellion against God’s design, the rise of “chestfeeding”—a term used to describe attempts by biological males to nourish infants from artificially stimulated nipples—marks a new low in the sexual revolution’s war on nature and morality. The practice, promoted and endorsed by Western governments including the United States, is not simply a medical oddity. It is a symptom of deep theological, philosophical, and moral disorder.
This blog post will expose the unnaturalness and danger of this practice, analyze the government’s role in promoting it, and present a robust biblical response to this cultural madness using the Christian perspective informed by Scripture and voices such as Voddie Baucham, John Gill, Paul Washer, and R.C. Sproul.
What Is “Chestfeeding”?
“Chestfeeding” is a euphemism adopted by activists and medical institutions for transgender-identifying biological males (i.e., “trans women”) who attempt to feed infants using hormonal and pharmaceutical means to stimulate nipple discharge. The term replaces “breastfeeding” to de-gender the act and accommodate non-women who want to participate in maternal behaviors.
The CDC’s website promotes this ideology by stating:
“Transgender and nonbinary-gendered individuals may give birth and breastfeed or feed at the chest (chestfeed). The gender identity or expression of transgender individuals is distinct from their sex assigned at birth.”
Such language reflects a complete submission of science to ideology—biology is subordinated to identity claims rooted in self-perception rather than reality.
How Do Trans-Identifying Males Induce Milk Production?
Trans-identifying males typically undergo a combination of synthetic estrogen, progesterone, and the off-label use of domperidone, a drug banned by the FDA for use in lactating women due to cardiac risks. This cocktail is intended to simulate the hormonal state of a pregnant or postpartum woman. However:
- The discharge produced is not true breast milk, but a weak imitation.
- The nutritional content is unverified, and medical literature does not confirm its safety or adequacy for infants.
- The milk may contain drug residues, including domperidone and feminizing hormones, with unknown long-term effects on children.
One case study widely reported in progressive circles (Reisman et al., 2018) was unable to establish whether the child was fully nourished or whether supplementation was necessary. In other words, this “chest milk” may amount to a hazardous experiment on infants.
Use of Fake Breasts
To complete the illusion of womanhood, many trans-identifying men purchase strap-on silicone breasts, often with integrated devices to simulate lactation. These come from companies such as IVITA and TsoLay, and are purely cosmetic unless used with nursing assistive devices that supply formula through tubing.
These prosthetics serve no biological function and reinforce the delusional attempt to mimic female biology through imitation.
Government and Medical Endorsement
Shockingly, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under Biden and the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS) both endorsed chestfeeding in official guidance.
The CDC writes:
“Healthcare providers should create a welcoming environment for transgender parents interested in breastfeeding or chestfeeding.”
— CDC Guidance on Breastfeeding and Transgender Persons
The NHS adds:
“If you can chestfeed and you also decide to start taking testosterone again, your milk will have small amounts of testosterone in it. It is unclear what, if any, effect this could have on your baby.”
This admission of ignorance about the safety of hormone-laced milk underscores the recklessness of pushing this ideology onto public health policy.
How Do “Trans Women” Acquire Children?
Biological males identifying as women cannot conceive or bear children. Therefore, they obtain children through:
- Surrogacy, often involving rented wombs and IVF.
- Adoption, sometimes leveraging LGBTQ+ priority guidelines.
- Heterosexual relationships prior to transitioning.
In every case, the child enters a non-normative family structure in which gender roles are deliberately subverted, and the father often attempts to act as the mother.
Biblical Condemnation of Gender Confusion
Scripture is not silent about these practices. It speaks clearly and authoritatively.
- Deuteronomy 22:5:
“A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.” (ESV)
This verse prohibits cross-dressing not merely as a clothing issue, but as a rebellion against created order.
- 1 Corinthians 11:14-15:
“Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him…?” (ESV)
Paul appeals to nature (creation order) to emphasize gender distinctions.
- Romans 1:26–27:
“For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions… men committing shameless acts with men…” (ESV)
This passage highlights God’s judgment on those who exchange the natural for the unnatural—a pattern manifest in today’s gender identity crisis.
Principle Derived:
Scripture not only forbids outward imitation of the opposite sex—it condemns the very attempt to invert God’s design. Man was created male. Woman was created female. Attempts to swap these roles, biologically or socially, are rebellions against God’s created order, and are described as abominations—a term reserved for the most grievous moral offenses.
A Christian Perspective on This Practice
Faithful Christian leaders would speak with clarity and compassion:
- Voddie Baucham would identify this as part of the “Romans 1 downgrade” and a sign of God’s judicial abandonment.
- Paul Washer would declare this a call to repentance, not affirmation.
- John Gill would say this is the visible fruit of a nation given over to unnatural affections.
- R.C. Sproul would lament the abandonment of reason and creation’s witness to the glory of God.
This is not merely a cultural issue. It is a Gospel issue, for it rejects the goodness of creation and the image of God as male and female (Genesis 1:27).
Conclusion: Truth Must Be Reclaimed
“Chestfeeding” is not a compassionate advance in inclusivity—it is a grotesque parody of motherhood. It reflects a culture that has rejected God’s truth, embraced confusion, and is now willing to experiment on children in pursuit of ideological delusion.
Christians must not be silent. The Church must stand as a pillar and buttress of truth (1 Timothy 3:15), declaring with love and firmness that gender is not a costume, motherhood is not a performance, male and female are not interchangeable, and children are not props for identity exploration.
We must call men back to manhood, women to womanhood, and our nation to repentance.

Some sources of information may reflect a libertarian and/or atheistic perspective. I may not agree with all of their opinions, but they offer some worthwhile comments on the topic under discussion.
Additionally, language used in the videos may be coarse. Coarse language does not reflect my personal standards.
Also, I do not acknowledge that anyone transitions from male to female, and vice versa. While I might use the language of the left, I do not believe their concepts. Trans men are women deluded into thinking they are men, and trans women are men deluded into thinking they are women. Trans men are not men, and trans women are not women.
Finally, those on the left often criticize my sources of information, which are primarily conservative and/or Christian. Truth is truth, regardless of how we feel about it. Leftists are largely led by their emotion rather than facts. It is no small wonder that they would criticize the sources that I provide. And, ultimately, my wordview is governed by Scripture. Many of my critics are not biblical Christians.
