In the modern war of words, few phrases sound as morally upright—and as morally twisted—as the left’s term “reproductive justice.” It rings with the rhythm of civil rights and human dignity. It evokes images of women rising from oppression, families thriving in equality, and freedom from tyrannical control. But don’t be fooled. This phrase is one of the most deceptive rhetorical tools in the Neo-Marxist arsenal. Behind its noble-sounding façade lies a worldview that undermines the sanctity of life, distorts justice, and continues a radical agenda bent on tearing down the moral foundations of Western civilization.
This post will expose the origins and ideological underpinnings of reproductive justice, unpack why its use is deceptive and dangerous, and provide a solid Christian and philosophical response to this modern form of moral manipulation.
The term reproductive justice was first coined in 1994 by a coalition of Black feminist activists who were frustrated with the mainstream pro-choice movement’s focus on abortion as a matter of personal autonomy. The term emerged after a conference sponsored by the Ms. Foundation for Women, just after the International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo.
These activists included leaders from SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, Loretta Ross, and others who sought to reframe the abortion debate in a broader, intersectional context. Their movement was not only about abortion access, but about economic equality, healthcare, housing, and systemic power—especially for women of color. In other words, reproductive justice was never merely about a woman’s “right to choose,” but about restructuring society itself.
And here lies the critical point: this framework is explicitly Neo-Marxist. It identifies women—particularly minority women—as an oppressed class, and views traditional family structures, biblical morality, and capitalist systems as forms of systemic oppression. Abortion becomes one tool in a larger ideological mission: the dismantling of “patriarchy,” capitalism, and religion.
This agenda finds roots in the Frankfurt School, which merged Marxist economic theory with Freudian psychoanalysis to attack the West not through economics alone, but through culture—what Antonio Gramsci called the “long march through the institutions.” Reproductive justice is simply the feminist expression of that revolution, aimed squarely at the family, the church, and the moral conscience of a nation.
What “Reproductive Justice” Really Means
At first glance, the phrase appears to advocate for fairness. After all, who wants to oppose justice? But reproductive justice is a Trojan horse. Here’s what it actually entails:
- Abortion on Demand Without Apology
Not merely “safe, legal, and rare,” but celebrated, funded, and unrestricted. - Access to Contraceptives, Sex Education, and Fertility Services
Regardless of age, parental involvement, or religious objections. - Support for LGBTQ+ Family Formation
Including artificial reproduction, surrogacy, and the redefinition of parenthood. - Dismantling Religious and Parental Authority
In the name of bodily autonomy and anti-discrimination. - Redistribution of Resources
Linking abortion access with healthcare, housing, and economic subsidies—all part of a wider socialist framework.
In this worldview, abortion is not a tragic necessity or a moral dilemma. It is a positive good, a means of liberation, and a “reproductive right” that must be publicly funded and socially celebrated.
The Biblical Worldview: Justice That Protects the Innocent
Scripture is clear that justice is rooted in the very nature and character of God. It is not a matter of personal opinion or social consensus. As Psalm 89:14 says, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.”
Let’s contrast true justice with the counterfeit offered by the Neo-Marxist left:
1. Justice Defends the Weak, It Does Not Kill Them
Proverbs 31:8–9 commands: “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” The unborn child is the most voiceless human being in society. To claim justice while killing the innocent is a moral contradiction.
2. Life Begins at Conception
Psalm 139:13–16 affirms God’s involvement in the womb: “You knitted me together in my mother’s womb… Your eyes saw my unformed substance.” Jeremiah 1:5 speaks of God’s calling on the prophet before he was born. The biblical testimony is consistent: human life has value from the moment of conception.
3. Rights Come from God, Not Government
The Declaration of Independence reflects this biblical truth: humans are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. If rights come from God, then no human being—mother, doctor, or government—has the authority to extinguish them.
4. Justice Is Not Defined by Emotions or Power
Isaiah 5:20 warns, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” Reproductive justice calls child sacrifice a “right,” and calls opposition to it “oppression.” This is the classic inversion of moral order—a satanic counterfeit posing as compassion.
The Philosophical Response: Reclaiming Moral Language
The term reproductive justice is not just bad theology—it’s bad philosophy. It misuses the language of justice to justify injustice. Here’s how we can dismantle it using moral reasoning:
1. Justice Means Giving Each Their Due
According to classical philosophy, justice is “the constant and perpetual will to render to each his due.” But what is due to the unborn child? At minimum, the right not to be intentionally killed. If abortion ends a life, and that life is innocent, then no concept of justice can justify it.

Some argue that unborn children aren’t “persons.” But this is the same flawed logic used in past atrocities—slavery, the Holocaust, and Jim Crow. If your right to life depends on your utility, your size, or someone else’s choice, then no one is safe.

Words like “justice,” “equality,” and “liberty” have real meanings grounded in nature and moral law. When we redefine them to fit ideology, we corrupt the public square. Orwell warned us of this: control language, and you control thought.

Despite its rhetoric of empowerment, reproductive justice actually leads to horrifying real-world consequences:
- Disproportionate Abortion of Black and Hispanic Babies
Planned Parenthood and its allies disproportionately target minority neighborhoods. In New York City, more Black babies are aborted than born in some years. - Eugenics Under a New Name
Aborting the disabled is common. Up to 90% of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted in some countries. The message is clear: some lives are not worth living. - The Exploitation of Poor Women

- Planned Parenthood – America’s largest abortion provider, heavily invested in political lobbying and identity-based activism.
- SisterSong – A coalition of women of color promoting abortion as a racial and social justice issue.
- Guttmacher Institute – A spin-off of Planned Parenthood that provides pro-abortion research to influence policy.
- Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundations – Major funders of abortion advocacy worldwide.
High-profile speakers and influencers include Loretta Ross, Monica Simpson, and Angela Davis—a former Communist Party member who directly connects abortion access to the broader Marxist revolution.
A Call to Christians: Don’t Be Fooled by Euphemisms
Words matter. When the left says “reproductive justice,” they are not talking about fairness, equality, or love. They are talking about abortion as liberation and infanticide as empowerment. This is nothing less than the culture of death cloaked in the language of compassion.
We must not cede moral vocabulary to those who pervert it. Instead, we must reclaim the language of justice, rooted in God’s law and natural reason.
- Speak plainly: abortion is the killing of an unborn child.
- Call out the deception: “reproductive justice” is a Neo-Marxist euphemism.
- Defend the truth: all human beings are created in God’s image, from the moment of conception.
