G/O Media’s portfolio is uniformly progressive, frequently emphasizing race, gender, and climate issues from a Neo-Marxist perspective. Though Quartz maintains a veneer of economic seriousness, it shares the same editorial DNA—prioritizing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) narratives, DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) advocacy, and climate alarmism.
Quartz’s business model relies primarily on digital ad revenue, sponsored content, paid newsletters, and venture capital. It has heavily leaned into “brand journalism” and partnerships with corporate clients who demand ideological conformity to progressive orthodoxy, particularly on race, climate, and gender.
Editorially, Quartz positions itself as a globalist voice for the “new economy”, often championing the views of transnational elites, Silicon Valley disruptors, World Economic Forum-style technocrats, and ESG activists. Its coverage of capitalism is paradoxical—both appreciative of tech innovation and quietly subversive of traditional free-market principles, frequently calling for stakeholder capitalism, corporate social activism, and wealth redistribution.
Despite its business-themed branding, Quartz has evolved into a Trojan horse for progressive ideology wrapped in the language of markets and innovation. Its reporting on business and finance is rarely just about economics—it’s about reshaping markets through the lens of identity, climate, and intersectionality.

Even its international coverage subtly echoes globalist values, framing nationalism as a threat, religious orthodoxy as regressive, and cultural particularism as inherently unjust. While other outlets scream ideology, Quartz whispers it—embedding worldview into the assumptions behind its graphs, the premises in its headlines, and the selection of what it chooses to cover—or ignore.
Ultimately, Quartz is not about business in the classic sense. It’s about social engineering through economic rhetoric. It flatters elites who believe they can manage humanity through data, institutions, and ideology. It offers a worldview where every problem has a technocratic solution—so long as you’re willing to dismantle the Judeo-Christian moral heritage that once defined the West.
That makes Quartz a uniquely dangerous entry in the Hall of Shame. Not for its volume, but for its strategy. Not for its slogans, but for its assumptions. Not for what it says, but for what it teaches readers to think without ever saying it aloud.

I don’t agree with the perspectives of all these commentators and the language of protesters is often obscene. Most news outlets will not cover these illegal assemblies, though, because it doesn’t promote their narrative.
Depictions of Jesus Christ are used in some illustrations. I realize that some including conservative Presbyterians consider this to be idolatry. I respectfully disagree with their position on this matter as the commandment forbids worshiping such depictions, and I do not worship these illustrations.
