A microaggression is a subtle remark or action perceived as conveying bias or exclusion.

Traditionally, ordinary misunderstandings, awkward comments, or unintentional slights were not generally categorized as discrimination.

In the woke activist worldview, seemingly minor or unintended comments may be viewed as meaningful expressions of systemic prejudice.
