The 2024 election presents voters with a stark choice—between two vastly different political visions for the country. Unfortunately, many Americans are being emotionally manipulated by corporate media and leftist propaganda rather than soberly examining policy positions. This post is a plea to voters: don’t let irrational fear or media distortion determine your vote. Consider the actual records and platforms of the candidates and their parties. Read the platforms. Compare policies. And most of all—think clearly.
The 27-page 2024 Republican platform is transparent. Donald Trump and J.D. Vance have both consistently articulated their positions. In contrast, the 91-page Democrat platform is written in opaque language laced with euphemism, shielding radical ideas from the average American. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz embrace this agenda. Before casting a vote, consider the facts—not the media spin.
The Problem of Transparency and Character
Kamala Harris is not a model of political honesty. While claiming her values haven’t changed, her record is riddled with flip-flops. As a senator and vice president, she’s repeatedly shifted her positions to appeal to public sentiment—not because of principle. Her background as a San Francisco prosecutor doesn’t negate her later support for radical leftist causes. During the 2020 BLM riots, Harris promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which bailed out violent criminals. She helped legitimize destructive behavior under the guise of social justice.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump—though controversial—is consistent in his message. Love him or hate him, voters know what he stands for: strong borders, low taxes, energy independence, traditional values, and national sovereignty. He’s not trying to obscure his beliefs behind bureaucratic jargon.
Abortion
Trump and the national GOP have scaled back their national abortion platform post–Dobbs. While many conservatives may be disappointed by this, it reflects the Court’s return of the issue to the states. Republicans like Trump advocate for letting the people of each state decide.
Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party, however, support federal legislation mandating taxpayer-funded abortion up to the point of birth. Their platform is not about “safe, legal, and rare”—it is about unrestricted abortion as a supposed human right.
Moreover, the Biden-Harris DOJ has used the FACE Act to prosecute peaceful pro-life demonstrators. There is every indication that a Harris administration would escalate the persecution of pro-lifers. Trump, by contrast, has vowed to pardon unjustly imprisoned pro-lifers.
Economy
The Biden-Harris administration spent recklessly. The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” did not reduce inflation—in fact, Biden admitted the title was deceptive. Americans experienced skyrocketing prices on groceries, fuel, and basic services.
Rather than taking responsibility, Harris deflects. She blames inflation on “corporate greed,” especially among grocers and producers who operate on thin profit margins. Her proposed solution—price controls—is a failed policy that leads to shortages and disincentivizes production.
Trump’s policies produced energy independence, low unemployment, and rising wages prior to COVID-19. His promise to expand domestic oil and gas production would relieve inflationary pressure across multiple sectors: food, transportation, manufacturing, and housing.
Immigration
Biden-Harris policies have effectively opened the southern border. Border officials are instructed to admit nearly all asylum claimants, regardless of legitimacy. Most claims are fraudulent, yet the sheer volume ensures mass release into the interior of the U.S.
This isn’t incompetence—it’s ideological. Democrats want to reshape the electorate. Since House representation and Electoral College votes are based on total population (not citizenship), a flood of migrants into blue states increases Democrat power. Future amnesties would turn these non-citizens into loyal Democrat voters.
Worse, leftist ideology openly supports “decolonization,” which calls for dismantling Western ideals. This includes weakening America’s majority culture, which is rooted in Christianity and the Constitution. Open borders dilute the very identity of the nation.
Trump supports secure borders, vetted and merit-based immigration, and robust enforcement. He understands that the nation cannot survive without sovereignty.
Summaries of Other Critical Issues
These areas will be explored in more depth in future posts, but a brief comparison is helpful.
- Crime and Policing: Trump backs police and law and order. Harris and Walz sided with rioters, called for reimagining policing, and only backpedaled when political blowback occurred.
- Education and Parental Rights: Trump supports school choice and parents’ rights. Harris backs federal and state education bureaucracies that hide gender transitions and sexual indoctrination from parents.
- Gender Ideology: Harris supports policies that erase women’s sports, allow minors to access hormone treatments without parental approval, and install tampon dispensers in boys’ restrooms—policies embraced by her running mate, Tim Walz.
- The Family and Marriage: Trump has promoted traditional family values. Democrats increasingly endorse LGBTQ+ ideology as the moral framework of the nation.
- Race Relations: Trump promotes equal treatment under the law. Harris supports racialized policies, including equity-based preferences and CRT ideology.
- Foreign Policy: Trump advanced peace deals and reduced foreign entanglements. Harris represents a party that is re-escalating globalist military adventurism, especially in Ukraine and Gaza.
- Corruption: Trump sought to “drain the swamp.” The Biden-Harris DOJ has targeted political opponents and shielded progressive allies.
- Gun Ownership: Trump supports Second Amendment rights. Harris supports gun control measures that disarm law-abiding citizens while criminals roam free.
- Energy and Environment: Trump supports clean fossil fuel expansion and innovation. Harris supports Green New Deal–style policies that cripple domestic production and reward unreliable foreign nations.
- Civil Liberties: Harris has supported mandates, censorship, and speech restrictions in the name of public health and equity. Trump has pledged to restore free speech and religious liberty.
- Globalism: Trump prioritizes America. Harris advances the goals of the UN, the WHO, and other globalist bodies over U.S. sovereignty.
- Military: Trump rebuilt the military. Harris and the Democrats prioritized DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) and climate change in military policy.
- Social Security and Medicare: Trump has vowed to protect these programs. Democrats claim to do the same but divert funds toward unrelated social experiments.
- Supreme Court: Trump appointed constitutionalist justices. Harris would appoint radical ideologues committed to legislating from the bench.
Final Thoughts: Truth vs. Emotion
This election isn’t about liking a candidate’s personality. It’s about voting for the policies that will preserve America’s core principles. Kamala Harris and the Democrat Party represent a radical break from those principles. Donald Trump and the Republican Party, for all their imperfections, stand much closer to what made America great: constitutional government, strong families, free enterprise, religious liberty, and secure borders.
Read the platforms. Don’t be manipulated by media hysteria. Vote your conscience and vote wisely.

Kamala Harris perpetuated multiple lies concerning her record and her political positions during the debate with Donald Trump. Additionally, the ABC moderators acted as allies and facts-checker against Donald Trump while allowing her to convey false information without repercussion. Others have fact-checked her claims, though. Here are a few good videos exposing her deceit.
Kamala Harris promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund during the George Floyd rioting of 2020. This fund provided bond funds to enable rioters to be freed from jail. This fund has been used to bail out violent individuals who committed murder and rape. Some of their crimes were created after release.
Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, Harris’ running mate, signed a law mandating that tampon machines be placed in boys public school restrooms . This bill provided tacit support for the left’s prevailing gender ideology which demands the right for females (those with XX chromosomes) to use male restrooms and locker rooms and males (those with XY chromosomes) to use female restrooms and locker rooms.
Minnesota is a “refuge state” allowing boys and girls to flee to Minnesota to receive “gender affirmation” treatments regardless of parental approval.

Here is the Mandate for Leadership – The Conservative Promise (Project 2025) document produced by The Heritage Foundation. Project 2025 is not supported by the Trump/Vance campaign. The Harris/Walz campaign has falsely claimed Project 2025 is supported by the Trump/Vance campaign.

I recommend these Youtube channels and commentators for good content on politics and news from a Christian and/or conservative worldview: Albert Mohler, Allie Beth Stuckey, Bill O’Reilly, CBN News, Hugh Hewitt, John Anderson Media (Australia), Nick Freitas, Ruthless Podcast (language warning), Scott Jennings, The Hot Zone with Chuck Holton, Vince Dao, and Verdict with Ted Cruz.
Albert Mohler’s channel on Youtube has a daily episode called The Briefing with Albert Mohler that I highly recommend. Allie Beth Stuckey’s channel is top-notch, too.
For livestreaming of political protests and riots by conservative commentators, check out Nate Friedman, Cam Higby, James Klug, and Nick Shirley. I don’t agree with the perspectives of all these commentators and the language of protesters is often obscene. Most news outlets will not cover these illegal assemblies, though, because it doesn’t promote their narrative.
Depictions of Jesus Christ are used in some illustrations. I realize that some including conservative Presbyterians consider this to be idolatry. I respectfully disagree with their position on this matter as the commandment forbids worshiping such depictions, and I do not worship these illustrations.
